A wedding photo booth can make an amazing feature at a reception, and in fact our Roxbury Photo Booth is proving popular with brides and grooms across the country. So what exactly is it that they love about our booth and how likely would they be to recommend it to someone else?
We recently caught up with newlywed Carmel Ray, who has kindly shared why Roxbury was such a special part of their wedding day. Here’s what she had to say…
Carmel, what made you decide on hiring a wedding photo booth?
We always knew we wanted some kind of photo related entertainment for our evening reception but we didn’t want a standard wedding photo booth style. It was something that we debated with for most of our two and a half year engagement.
Why did you decide to get your rox on?
We saw Roxbury in action at a birthday party and loved it! We were drawn to the open air style and freedom of having so many guests in one photo rather than being limited to three to four people at once. Everyone had such a good time and we knew that our wedding guests would love it too.
Why did you choose an open air booth, compared to the older, closed booth style?
We went for an open air booth as we didn’t like the limitations a classic closed booth held. Roxbury is so much more elegant and up-market compared to a classic booth. We loved the rich gold/silver backdrops. The aim was to have something spectacular at our wedding reception and the Roxbury Photo Booth ticked all the right boxes.
What backdrop did you decide on?
We decided on the gold backdrop as it fitted perfectly with our wooden rustic themed wedding. The photos all looked fantastic and we loved the sparkly element the backdrop offered.
Which props were your favourite?
We loved all of the props! There were so many to choose from so it’s hard to pick just one. Our guests tried them all and they definitely brought people out of their shells.
How did guests react to the booth?
Everyone loved the booth and so many of them still talk about it. In fact, a few of our family and friends are getting married soon and I think Roxbury will be making an appearance at their receptions too.
What did it add to your wedding day?
The booth added that something extra to our reception. It’s lovely having the photos to look at afterwards while you wait for your professional album. Our guests went home with a copy of their class photos and we have a brilliant scrapbook of photos and messages from our nearest and dearest. It’s a great memento of a wonderful day.
Would you recommend Roxbury to other couples for their wedding?
Yes – absolutely! In fact we already have. I can see how the booth would work well for a range of events, not just weddings.
Did everything go smoothly?
Everything was perfect from start to finish. Having your own Booth Butler to oversee the running of it means you can just have fun and enjoy it.
